DeKalb County Sheriff's Office

Located in the heart of Auburn, Indiana, the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) is a cornerstone of the community with a history of service dating back to the county's establishment in 1837.Under the leadership of Sheriff Brady N. Thomas, the office operates as a full-service law enforcement agency. It is dedicated to protecting approximately 43,000 residents across 362 square miles, balancing traditional peacekeeping with modern, specialized divisions.

National Organizations

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network)

The largest anti-sexual violence organization in the United States. RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline and leads programs that prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure perpetrators are brought to justice.

National Sexual Violence Resource Center

A comprehensive collection and distribution center for information, research, and emerging issues related to sexual violence. NSVRC offers free publications, research summaries, and campaign materials for survivors, advocates, and allies.

Joyful Heart Foundation

Founded by Mariska Hargitay, Joyful Heart works to transform the response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse — and to support survivors in their healing. Their End the Backlog campaign has helped pass rape-kit reform in states across the country.
